Precautions

a) General

• Inform your treating physician that you are taking acetaminophen and hydrocodone as it may alter urine tests.
• Inform the doctor of any past and present illnesses or diseases as well as any medications taken.

c) Storage

• Store acetaminophen and hydrocodone at room temperature away from moisture and heat.
• Keep in a secure place. Hydrocodone is a habit-forming drug and must not be used by anyone to whom it is not prescribed.

c) Major Side Effects

• problems with urination; or
• nausea, stomach pain, loss of appetite, itching, dark urine, clay-colored stools, jaundice (yellowing of the skin or eyes).

Signs of Overdose

• extreme drowsiness, sweating, pinpoint pupils, nausea, vomiting, dark urine, jaundice (yellowing of the skin or eyes), confusion, cold and clammy skin, muscle weakness, fainting, weak pulse, slow heart rate, coma, blue lips, shallow breathing, or no breathing.

Seek emergency help in case of an overdose as this can be fatal and talk to your doctor about any side effect that seems unusual or bothersome.
